 Where can winning tickets be cashed?
Winning tickets prized at $599 or less can be redeemed at any CT Lottery Retailer location. Tickets prized at $5,000 or less can be redeemed at any High-Tier Claim Center or Lottery Headquarters. Any Prize amount can be redeemed at the Connecticut Lottery Headquarters in Rocky Hill. Prizes of $5,000 and greater must be redeemed at the Rocky Hill Headquarters location. When redeeming a prize at the Lottery Headquarters be sure to bring 2 forms of signed ID, one must be a photo ID. Damage lottery tickets can only be claimed at the Connecticut Lottery Headquarters in Rocky Hill.

 How long do I have to cash a winning lottery ticket?
For all Draw Game prizes, they expire 180 days from the drawing date. All prizes must be claimed within 180 days of the drawing date.
 
 What is the difference between the Annuity Option and the Cash Lump Sum Payout?
Winners of the Powerball, Mega Millions or Classic Lotto jackpots have 60-days from the time the winning ticket is presented to Lottery Officials to decide how they would like to collect their prize, either as an Annuity or Cash Lump Sum payment.

A Cash Lump Sum pays out the prize money all at once. The Powerball Graduated Annuity pays out the jackpot prize amount in 30 payments over 29 years. Mega Millions Annuity pays out the jackpot amount in 26 payments over 25 years. The Classic Lotto Annuity pays out the jackpot amount in 21 installments over 20 years.
